The GIS Analyst will support project teams nationwide as a member of the GIS Team and Shared Technical Services. Anchor QEA uses ArcGIS for Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal, and ArcGIS Online. Work can be fast-paced in the environmental consulting business, requiring teams to organize and prioritize work with tight deadlines and competing priorities. The GIS Analyst’s role includes the following:
What Are We Looking For? Requirements include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in geography, environmental studies, or a related field and 1 to 3 years of progressive consulting experience with ArcGIS Desktop, environmental spatial analysis, document production, and data/geodatabase management. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in critical spatial thinking, troubleshooting, organization, attention to detail, and cartography with the ability to communicate and present data effectively to various audiences (from technical experts to the public) on multiple platforms. Preferred experience includes Python programming, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise (Collector for ArcGIS, Survey123, Portal for ArcGIS, QGIS, publishing web services, and deploying web applications), and/or ArcGIS Online.
