The Washington Department of Ecology is excited to announce two GIS positions with the Washington State National Hydrography (WA-NHD) mapping team. These positions will be directly involved with researching best methods of mapping hydrography for a future statewide update. This is a two-year State funded project.
Work will include assessing Lidar derived hydrography, editing NHD, and working with local stakeholders and data. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a nationally recognized pilot project. More information about the WA-NHD can be found on the WANHD website.
