The Jackson County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) department is seeking a qualified GIS Technician-Analyst (depending on experience) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide GIS client services, special maps, analysis, ESRI app configuration, and create/edit geospatial data for internal and external GIS customers. This position is within the county’s IT department and is classified as a Programmer Analyst, although some of the requirements associated with Programmer Analyst do not directly apply to the GIS position.

Valid Oregon State Driver's License with acceptable driving record. Technical certifications applicable to area of responsibility may be required for some positions.

Requires exerting in excess of 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds of force daily to move objects. Some positions require driving and travel.
