The Research Associate II will provide science coordination support and interface with an international hub, while working as part of the SERVIR Science Coordination Office.
Bachelor's degree in Earth Science or an equivalent field/12-15 months of full-time verifiable work experience/must possess a background in earth science and have a demonstrated understanding of environmental concerns and needs in developing regions/must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills/experience in capacity building processes involving regional thematic experts is required/must have knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS), satellite image processing, remote sensing, programming, and statistics software/must have the ability to provide technical assistance to regional science coordination leads/Master's degree in Earth Science or a related field is preferred
The approximate annual salary range for this position is $43,209 - $45,000.
